Stewardship
Stewardship is the work of encouraging people to manage the resources that God has entrusted to them to the end that we follow the Great Commission and the Great Commandment – to love God and to love one another. This includes teaching people of all ages about responsible management of their time, their God-given talents, all of their resources including money, and motivating them to use those resources for the support of the church and those in need. This Committee is responsible for conducting an annual survey of the congregation’s willingness to share their time, talents and financial resources. They shall interpret the mission of the Congregation, the Synod and the Churchwide organization to the Congregation.
